Well, y'see, 420 is I guess the police code for possession of marijuana, or some such crime. So the pot smokers have ironically "reclaimed" the number by celebrating 4/20 (April 20th) as a pot-smoking holiday by smoking pot. As if they ever need an excuse. I only just heard about it this year, but then it kept coming up as if everyone had always known about that. And also, am I completely wrong or didn't Canada legalize the possession of marijuana like two or three years ago? Go figure.
