In response to the overwhelming number of demands to know how The White Stripes' Icky Thump could possibly have been left off my list of 2007's best albums, let me just say that it is, in fact, a pretty good record. Right up there with their best work, in fact. Unfortunately, they chose to make the second track a complete and obvious ripoff of my own jingle for a car dealership, and are therefore automatically disqualified from the race.
